the honest answer

Why we build dietitian websites on WordPress

Because a WordPress site can move with you, works with almost any tool and lets us control its speed. It does need regular care, which is what our plans are for.

Three reasons we chose it

You can take it with you. A WordPress site is made of files and a database, and almost any host can run them. When you buy your site from us, that's what you get. Many website builders don't allow that, so leaving means rebuilding.

It works with what you already use. Booking links, email tools, SEO settings, course platforms: nearly everything connects to WordPress, because it's so widely used. That also means that plenty of developers can work on your site, not just us.

We control the speed and the details. We choose the server, the images and the code on each page. Those choices affect how a page feels on a phone, which is where many of your clients will meet you.

What it asks of you

WordPress isn't maintenance-free. It needs updates, backups and someone to step in when a plugin misbehaves. Left alone, a site can break or become unsafe.

That's the honest trade-off, and it's the reason our plans include this work. If you buy your site and host it elsewhere, that job becomes yours or your developer's.

When something else is a fine choice

We're a WordPress company, so take this as our view, but we mean it:

  • Squarespace is a fine choice if you want to build alone and rarely change anything.
  • Wix is a fine choice if you want to try things yourself cheaply.
  • An AI builder is a fine choice for a quick test page, if you'll check every word yourself.

A simple site on any of these is far better than no site, or one you never finish.

What we won't tell you

We won't say that WordPress ranks better on Google, because Google doesn't favour a platform. We won't say any platform makes you HIPAA compliant, because that depends on your practice and how you handle information.

good questions

Common questions

Will I have to manage WordPress myself?

Not on our plans. We handle updates and backups, and you can write posts or add services with a simple editor whenever you want to.

Is WordPress automatically faster or safer?

No. It depends on how the site is built and looked after. A careless WordPress site can be slow and unsafe, so the care matters more than the name.

Does itersi.com run on WordPress?

No. This company website runs on a different system, Laravel. The websites we build for clients use WordPress and the Bricks builder.
