Your domain can leave, but Wix says its sites can't be hosted elsewhere, so the site itself has to be rebuilt. You can reuse your words and images.
Does Google penalise Wix sites?
No. Plenty of Wix sites appear on Google. We wouldn't choose a platform out of fear of a penalty.
How much of my Wix content can you reuse?
Your words and images, as long as you own them. We rebuild the design on WordPress and redirect your old page addresses where we can.
